15 silverado 5.3
diablo tune
93 octane
firm shift
dod disabled
ive tried 20%, 15%, and 5% throttle boost
20% seemed to be the best, but no matter what its set to, it seems theres a delay in responsiveness while driving between 20-40mph. if i push the accelerator, it wants to downshift and theres some delay to shift.
what can i change in order to get it to accelerate vs lag then downshift?

this could well be a built in delay in the trans....going from 5th/6th to say 2nd or 3rd?

not sure.
betwen 20-40mph, i ease on the accelerator and it doesnt know if it wants to stay in current gear or down shift

My experience with throttle boost is to leave it alone, set to 0, for town driving.
I'm using the same settings as you except my throttle boost is at 0.
I have tried playing around with throttle boost and it seems to mess with the trans.
My truck has a nice solid shift.
I also think the "hard shift" setting is pretty good too.
It's a little bit too much for what I want though.
The 91 tune delivers plenty of power and response as it is, don't
mess with it
