2013 Camaro ZL1 M6 can't tune with trinity

I attempt to load any tune, it will start saving and reach approx 25% and i get the message "original backup NOT saved(-18)" hit more info and get "error reading page(5) click continue to make 2nd attempt". Get original backup NOT saved(-17) hit more info. Get "PCM:error reading page(4)" hit continue. Get message saying "trinity was unable to save your original tune after 2 attempts. this can happen if vehicle already ha a performance tune." hit continue and i get "Not tuning because of backup(4).

This car was purchased new and has never been tuned.

I took it to the dealer and watched them re-flash the ECM and suspension control modules on 8-5-2016.

I'm still receiving the same messages and unable to tune it.

I'm using a trinity with trinity_gm_can_gas-1r13r_update.crom

does the tool present you with tunes to select before it tries to read the backup?

does it fail at the same % each time?

A few months. Just tuned my 2016 Silverado with it and then returned it to stock and tried to tune the ZL1.

OK, so it has worked on another application.
Odd. I dont know what would cause this on the ZL1, I was wondering if it might be the tool but that doesn't seem to be the case.
Is the ZL1 push start or keyed ignition?

Update,

I want to first thank Daniel and Mikel for their help, now for the BAD and the GOOD.

Called Diablosport, 866-404-6141, dialed 4 for tech support, listened to 65 rings before entering the que as caller number 9, listened to advertisements for Edge products while waiting, spoke with a tech support rep that didn't know anything about Diablosport products but could transfer me to a person who does, after 40 rings I finally spoke with someone who knows about Diablosport products.

Speaking with Daniel from Diablosport, we verified that my trinity was setup correctly and communicating with the vehicle. He informed me to disconnect the battery for 20 minutes and then try to tune the vehicle again.

Start to finish the phone call lasted 27 minutes and 17 seconds. Really, not that bad, but the process could be less painful.

At 1:04 PM CST the battery was disconnected and at 1:35 PM CST the battery was reconnected. I connected the trinity and followed the steps to tuning the vehicle with a 91 Octane tune. The trinity began downloading the stock file and stopped at 11%, giving me an error (-17). I then let it make the second attempt and it stopped again, but at 36%, giving me an error (-18). I cycled the key and tried tuning it again. This time it stopped downloading at 63%, giving an error (-18). I then let it make the second attempt again and it completed the download of the stock tune with no errors.

So to sum it up, I had to try 4 times in a row before it completed the stock download, each time it continued to progress farther until the fourth time when it downloaded 100%!

The reward was worth the sacrifice! The car is very, very, very fun to drive now! (It was fast stock, it's a ZL1!)
