Sorry for the dump questions

Post by brgracing »

Hi guys :D My Name is K.C. I'm the owner of BRG Racing and Dyno service. I'm new to the Diablo tuning software, and I have all kinds of questions. Mike keeps telling me to go to this forum, and look for the answers but I'm not the most forum savy guy and have found little in answers. So I'm hope you all may be able to help.

I see the trem PID use what does it stand for?

Where or how do you data log long term and short term fuel trim. I need to see whats coming out of the motor as in some kind of 02 reads.

I's there a base timing table? the place that will give me access to adjusting the base timing.

I've read here in the forum. The MAP and Bio metric pressure sensor are the same thing? What I'm use to is the MAP tells you what your load is with the motor, and the BIO is pressure at atmosphere IE altitude and weather. Can some one tell me how this can be done with one sensor... :?:

I need to under stand " scaling the senors. MAP and what other sensors need scaling and what numbers do you need? the max number generated by the Senor? and where do you do this scaling in the software?

That all I can think of for know and again sorry if these are relay basic, but I will not assume I know something. I've got caught by that thinking before. :punisher:
Thanks

OBD-II PIDs. OBD-II PIDs (On-board diagnostics Parameter IDs) are codes used to request data from a vehicle, used as a diagnostic tool. SAE standard J/1939 defines many PIDs, but manufacturers also define many more PIDs specific to their vehicles.

You can data log with your handheld and download the data logger and view what you need.
