New tuner over old tuner

Hollo I am about to buy a new diablos for my jeep Because I can't find the old Diablo tuner I had. So my ? Is. will the new tuner over right the old one?

new i2 will ask you to check for a calibration update if it sees the truck is tuned and that will load a stock file then you can tune from scratch.
