Modify/Restore Parameters ?

Post by JTWalker »

If I modify my Throttle response (Trinity) by say +7% and install the tune it's not much change. So I modify the throttle response again with +12%. Now do I have + 12% or + 19% ?

If I want to go back to 0% do I just modify parameters again by -12/-19% or use "Restore Parameters"

Does "Restore Parameters" restore only the ones I've changed (I hope)?

Can I modify parameters and save that "new tune" with a different file name from the original so I have both available?

if you load the tune with 10%, then go back and add another 10%, it adds up.

Use the reset param option to set them back to stock or simply set them back to default 0.

You can grab a copy of the last tune written, rename it and save it back to the tool as a custom tune.

Thank you. If you read this again, one more question. The throttle response only goes up to 20% but since you say it's accumulative, will 10 + 15 actually go to 25% ?
Thanks again for the help. :D

no..

if you change it to 10%.. and then you go back in to change it some more, it will show that it is already at 10%.. so if you then adjust it to 15%, then the total will be 15%, not 25...

Thanks for your reply but your response seems to disagree with Mike. You both can't be right.

I just tried it and you are right that it shows that I was already at 10% so it would make sense that moving it up to 15% would just mean it's now at 15% and 20% is the real limit.

sorry, I thought you were referring to reloading the tune and adding throttle boost again as a custom, my bad.

also, with Trinity, reloading the last tune written as a custom tune wont work, I was thinking i2 when I said that.
If you want to do that post the LTW here and I can make it a full file for you.

Thanks

I just removed 20% of the fuel under WOT, and the AF only leaned out half of a point?

Is that normal? I still need to go another half point leaner but the Trinity is maxed out at 20%
