Need a custom tune for off-road h pipe? running lean?

Post by iLikeMustang »

hey guys so I just installed a off-road h pipe on my 07 mustang gt and my friend who is a mechanic said the car sounds/smells like it is running lean? I don't know how that's possible but tons of people say that without a custom tune for the catless midpipe the car will run weird. the car does run a little funny now and I was hoping there was a tech who could send me a tune that incorporates the off road mid pipe. also do I have to manually turn off the o2 sensors or will a tune turn them off for me? I also have a JLT series 3 CAI, straight pipe cat back, and run on 91 octane tune so if you guys could soup something up id appreciate it

That's good :) can I still get a tune to get the most benefits from the h pipe?
