Awesome news, thank you. Now to hold out until it's out of test phase.
Re: 2015 6.2l 8 speed
Hello Mike,
This is my first post as I just received my I2 for my '15 6.2 Denalli and did not realize there was no tuning for the 8 speed AT. So, other than the obvious (when will the T87 tune be available), what is the recommended tune for an otherwise stock 2015 6.2 Denalli which only drinks 93 octane? The "Easy Tune" for 93 octane? I've flashed that tune and didn't feel any (seat of the pants) difference; then did the advanced tune and upped the throtte boost to +5% and it's definitely noticeable. That said, I've had this in my possession for about 6 hours and want to know what is recommended until the specific tune for the T87 becomes available.
I have a lot of experience with the Corvette version of the 6.2, but strictly on a dyno and the results were amazing. Also, I do realize the car weighs half what the truck does and the seat of the pants difference will not be near as noticeable.
Anyway, I very much appreciate any help and direction you can provide.
Thank you,
JD

So I just read there's a full time Chevy guy in a previous thread...what are the chances this speeds up the 8speed/T87?

Re: 2015 6.2l 8 speed
they do have the ability to flash the T87, but they dont offer custom tuning hence they only had to map a few select params to make tunes fo rtheir tools, we have to release it as a custom tune capable platform which means thorough templates with hunderds of editable parameters for the tuners who use CMR, and that takes quite a bit of time.toneyjay wrote:Sup_r_hips have had support since mid may
We did tune the T87 on the 16 Camaro here last week, as well as the T87 in one of our employees ATSV and a 16 2.0T Camaro, and its all going well.
Its really close to a release.
Thanks
PS, Superchips is not a bad word here. I am typing this reply from our Sanford, FL offices, formerly home of Superchips, then A satellite of Powerteq (SC/Edge) and now home of Powerteq including all 3 brands

I couldn't be happier to see progress is being made. I can only hope you have a truck for testing as well?
