Trinity 93 octane tune stalling '14 Challenger SRT8

Updated the trinity with the latest software and tried to instal 93 octane tune with modified parameters. Car stalls on start up! Need help with this issue please!

Anyone have any comments please? Have searched the forum for hours to no avail! Diablosport needs to stay open longer. I don't get off of work untill 5 M-F. No time to cal in.

Why modified parameters?

tire size, fans on with a/c, throttle boost, mds off on 93 octane tune. Stalls on start up.

Is the check engine light on? Might be worth checking for codes either way.

If no codes, try starting a logging session and see what the ECT (engine coolant temp) is reading. I've had experience in the past where an extremely high or low reading by the ECT sensor would cause stalling on startup without tripping a code.

Also, have you tried putting the stock tune back in to see if the problem exists with it as well?

After installing the tune with mods I get a whole host of codes thrown. After I revert back to the original time the check engine light stays on but the engine runs fine. I just erase the codes and they never show up again. Really confusing when I had the car tuned with the 93 octane before without some of the mods. All I wanted to change was the tire size and rev limiter at idle.

That is strange. Is it the Diablosport canned 93 tune that comes with the Trinity, or is it a custom tune written by a CMR? Do you get the same result if you load the 87 or 91 octane tune in?

Maybe the 93 tune became corrupt somehow inside your Trinity. You can replace it by reloading the CROM. The latest 2011 - 2016 Chrysler CROM can be downloaded here: https://www.diablosport.com/dsdl/downlo ... pdate.crom

And if I remember correctly, you can force a CROM to update in the Trinity by clicking the link within the "Connection 1" step on the "Connection Test" tab of DSDownloader.

It's the canned tune. I haven't tried the other canned tunes to see if it works. I'll try to reload the latest CROM again and see what happens.

I tried loading the 93 octane tune without any modifications and the car still stalls. Really confusing? What should I do next?

Really frustrated! I've had this tuner for awhile now. It was connected to my 6.1 2010 charger with no problems.

Did you try loading the 87 or the 91 octane tune in the vehicle, to see if those tunes exhibit the same issue? Or try reloading the CROM in the Trinity? It seems to me the 93 tune is corrupt in your Trinity.

when you get a chance, please load the tune to the car then connect the device to a pc and open dsdownloader and click get tune file from tool, then export the backup and last tune written and post them here, then you can restore the stock tune.
