Hey all,
I have been searching around for a bit on what to log here, but haven't come up with too much that really covers my situation.
I am attending a University studying mechanical engineering and my car club here is having a dyno day. It's basically a day where anyone in the club can make three pulls on the dyno and see our numbers. I recently got the Trinity T1000 for my 05 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 5.7L and thought I would make the most of the day by logging data with the tuner as I make the pulls.
My question is, what would be effective to log and review after for someone who has never been on the dyno nor logged data in any instance?
I think this question may seem a bit trivial for some, so I apologize if this may seem like such a novice question, I just don't know much about these aspects of the vehicle dynamics and thought this would be a cool idea.
I see there are people who have downloaded pre-set parameters to be logged off of certain pages, would anyone recommend some? Should I log different things over my three pulls? I am beginning to learn all of this and I just want to gain as much as I can over the day. This summer I will be installing a cam, supporting mods, new heads, and intake manifold. I thought it would be really cool to review the numbers before and after the modifications.
Thanks for everyone's help in advance and I apologize again if this seems too trivial and redundant for people who deal with these kinds of tests daily.

the default list of PIDs we provide is usually a good place to start.
