C7 Corvette A8 tune issues

Hey, so I contacted tech support and haven't heard back for a week and some change so I thought I'd post here.

Tech support told me initially to switch to the manual transmission since the A8 wasn't supported, and it worked fine at first, but then alllllll kinds of things went crazy. Cruise control locked in at 5k RPM, my radio control buttons on my steering wheel started bugging out, operating much slower and sometimes changing backwards rather than forwards between my favorites, any driving mode other than sport caused my throttle to stop responding so I was dead in traffic, my car smelled like gasoline all the time as if it was flooding the engine, and other electronics were just acting weird, it's hard to explain.

So I took the tune from the trinity off and now I'm just sitting with an expensive paperweight haha. Are you guys any closer to a release date on the A8 support? I'd really like to use this, thank you.

Selecting manual simply tells it to ignore the tcm, it wont cause any of these issues.
if they didnt happen as soon as you loaded the tune, they were not likely tune related. Id look into see if others have seen this issue on their C7.

They did happen as soon as I loaded the tune, but I didn't get a chance to really use it that day, or for a couple days after because of hurricane prep, except for the quick cruise around the neighborhood, so I didn't play with electronics, cruise control, or driving mode at all. And they went away immediately after removing the tune, that part I made sure to test. Definitely caused by the tune, I could try adding it again and see if maybe it was a bad write or something, I don't know, what do you think?

Yes, lease try reloading it and ensure you have the ignition in RUN mode for the key on sequences.

I reloaded it and the throttle cutting out issue went away, but I can't do cruise control. Tried it around like 40 mph, if that's relevant, as soon as I hit cruise control it dropped 3 gears and jumped to 4k-5kish RPM within a few seconds before I hit the brakes. Cruise control was working fine on my way home from work a couple hours ago.

The electronics issues were hard to test cuz things were just acting weird with no real rhyme or reason until I took it off before, but I'll keep trying tomorrow.

Any solution for the cruise control thing?

If relevant, I'm on a 2016 Corvette Z51 A8, using a Trinity T1000

Sent on Friday, I'm assuming you got it.

Got back from my out of town trip (not in my car) and drove my car around lunch time after being away from it for the weekend. Tested the cruise control a little longer and what it does is immediately downshifts a gear, then after two seconds, it downshifts again until it is resting at 4-5k rpm. Then it stays there for 3-5 seconds and then upshifts once, two seconds later it upshifts again so I'm cruising at about 2k rpm (which would be fine), and then repeats the process.

In addition, I tested the driver modes again and eco mode causes the throttle to stop responding at all, switching back to sport mode causes some weird sputtering almost like it's about to stall if it were a manual. Didn't test much of the others because I was in traffic for most of it, but switching it back to sport fixes it.

Removing the tune fixes both of these issues that I consider pretty severe. Any word on possible fixes?

Zach hooked it up pretty quickly with a working tune, this issue looks resolved, thanks guys!

what was the problem?i have a 2016 a8 Z06 and if I buy 1 I would like to know what happened and what the fix was.

Just a mix up in the calibration, essentially deadening the throttle pedal. It's all been updated and out of the tools.
