2016 Mustang 93 Tune something wrong 5-6th gear

Hey Everyone,

Before to start here's my car's specs:

2016 V6 Mustang Auto with 93 tune.

I used to drive with Paddle shift all the time when I was running 87 stock and I had an issue that Ford fixed by resetting my paddle shift. My issue was that from 3rd to 4th gear the car will rise the RPM a little bit and pass the shift (Kind of like you stay on a clutch for couple sec). Problem got solved but couple weeks later it started again. I got tired of Ford BS and decided to buy an Intune I2. I first flashed it with the 87 tune and everything was perfect my 3rd - 4th gear passed finally correctly! Later on I decided to pass on the 93 tune. This tune is really nice and now I just put my car in Drive no more paddle shift when I need to save gas . Anyways since a week now it seems that paddle shift or regular Drive mode the car is acting weird from 5th to 6th gear in low RPM. When the car is ready to shift by itself in D at low RPM. Somehow the car will rise the rpm and kick and then lower the rpm and then get back to where the RPM should be... I don't know what to do... It doesn't happen all the time but it's very often. Could this be the 93 Tune?

i doubt its the tune but post up the last tune written out of the tool and and let me make some chages to the slip tables.

plug the i2 into a computer and inside the i2 drive there is a "tunes" folder. inside that is the backup and last tune written from your vin. post up both files

I guess it'll have to wait lol. I'm bringing the car to ford for the issue. It's getting worse!

It's weird cause when I put it back to stock the problem is gone. I flash the 93 tune again and problem is gone also. However I'm pretty sure in a week or so it'll start again... I don't know what's going on with it... I told Ford this time I need more than a Reset of the ECU. I told them to tear it down because it's not normal. Hopefully they'll get approval to tear it down... I drop the car tomorrow.

make sure to take the car there without the tune installed that way it is undetectable. let me know when you get the car back and i will send you a revised tune that has more pressure in it and less shift time. we are going to have to do that anyway with the increased horsepower so might as well do it now.

Hey Diablomatt,

I just got my car back and it seems that Ford fixed my transmission. However when I apply the 93 tune I still have trouble in D (Sometimes S) the car still messes up from 5th to 6th gear. Please check your PM I sent you the download link of my backup tune.
