Overwriting tune from Superchips, want to switch to DiabloSp

Post by sweldin »

I lost my Superchips F5 tuner and would like to replace it with a DiabloSport iTuner2. If I buy one and attempt to use it will it recognize the current tune as a factory tune? The customer service seems to be a tad bit on the slow side and I'd hate to have it lock up and leave me cussing in the driveway. In short must I go to the stealer and get it reflashed to factory before I can use the ituner2?

yes, I would get the truck flashed back to factory GM stock programming first before using the new tool on it..

Thanks. I notice the messages in the forum isn't rdered by date. Maybe ur it guy should look at that, just sayin. I couldn't find the original question to u anywhere until i went to my profile area. Thanks for the answer, the sales guy said it wouldn't be a problem, however it seems like this software isn't particularly robust or something due to all the questions and problems on the website. Am i reading this wrong?
