diablosport trinity original backup failed

hi, i have a 5.7L 2013 dodge ram and im having trouble using the trinity on my truck. when i try to install a tune, it says ORIGINAL BACKUP WILL NOW BE SAVED. but then it says ORIGINAL BACKUP FAILED. after two attempts it starts over and trys again but then gives me a message saying it might have already be tuned, but to my knowledge it does not since i bought it from a dealership. if anyone could help, id appreciate it to figure out whats going on
