PCM locked

I traded in my 2014 Dodge Ram yesterday. While at the dealer I went to return my truck to stock, so that I can reuse my $600 tool on another vehicle. It went through the process to 100%, and it says error unable to return to stock - pcm locked. No matter what, the truck wouldn't start, and the tool wouldn't do anything. Said it couldn't get the VIN. Called diablosport support and sat on hold for an hour. I had my wife and 4 kids running around a dealership for 6 hours. The dealer added $300 onto my loan for this. To add salt to the wound, I traded my truck in on a mini van

All I ask, is to unlock this T1000 so I can either reuse it, or sell it.
