Tuning issue

Post by FunkELo »

Got my new tuner in the mail today. Updated it, plugged it in to the vehicle, updated for again, plugged back into vehicle. Have tried to install 87 tune through the easy tune and also advanced tune. Sometimes it starts to read the pcm and backup the original and sometimes it doesn't. It usually just ends up hanging/freezing. Farthest I've been able to make it is 22%.

Any suggestions?

vehicle is a 2014 Ram Sport with the 8spd.

Thanks!

Hey don't use easy tune. Diablo told me that over the phone. Perhaps they have fixed that issue.

Mine locked up at 11% more than a few times . the touchscreen was defective.
Diablo replaced it and the new one did freeze one more time, I was then successful. It does take forever so have an empty bladder and a drink handy.
