Random high temperature warning

Post by basshead »

My truck over the last couple of weeks gave me random high temperature warning (same as when you upload the tune). It basically went from normal to the max instantly.

Every time it happened I've put the truck in neutral, stop/start engine, put back to drive and it's fine.

This has been happening since I updated the tuner (late November) and uploaded a tune that I've used many times before without issues. Any idea if it's something wrong with the diablo update?

Sometimes these items reset after a flash, not uncommon.

What do you mean by reset after a flash?

The temp gauge while driving goes from normal operating temperature to the max? Just trying to understand what going on.

Will it happen only once after a flash? Seems to be the case.
