alternator???

This is for a 5.7L 2006 Dodge Charger.
I have an issue with my alternator, and someon mentioned that the alternator is controled by the pcm, Would there be any reason why a daiblo tuning would interfere with the alternator, any accounts of this to anyones knowledge, and suggestions on what to check in order to fix the car,

thanks, do you happen to know anything concerning the way the pcm works with the alt? i know its not a diablo thing, just lookin for some tips.
