Intune goes into restore mode.

Post by drmusic13 »

I just got through resetting my intune with tech support some months back, was planning a trip with my vehicle but at the time it was loaded with 93 octane CAI. I researched my route but found no places that would offer 93 octane so I decided to tune to the 91 octane CAI.
Hooked up went through the backup process including the necessary key cycles. It said it backed up my original tune then went to load 91 Octane CAI. The progress bar made it to 100% then after more key cycles got message that said failed to load tune, asked if I wanted to restore the backup,I chose yes. After over an hour of the indicater bar saying 100%,got the message that the install of the backup failed. Then intune goes into reset mode.
I have had this same issue 2 times with tech support talking me through the reset process but the tuner fails to install any tunes at all. Luckily the car starts and runs as it did before I tried tuning.
What are your thoughts on this issue?
Should I upgrade to the intune2?
Very frustrating that I can't load any tunes in my vehicle.
Does diablosport offer any trade in to upgrade deals?
I got an email a month or so back offering the intune 2 or trinity at a discount, but I'm sure that offer isn't valid any longer.
Thank you

are you making any changes when you load the tune?

We do offer an upgrade to i2 or trinity, we take a little over $100 off the new tuner if you trade the old one in.
