Help: Custom Tune problem

I tried to install an updated custom tune today and I keep getting a Custom Tune error message on my Trinity. So I connected the Trinity to my pc running windows 10 and I get this:

Custom Tune problem:
DS Downloader version 1.7.1.0 or newer is required. Please upgrade DS Downloader.
dsdl version: unknown
Please use 'Options'-> 'Custom Tune' to load or erase the Custom Tune

Here are the screen shots it keeps looping through before rebooting:

I have DS Downloader 2.3.1.0 installed and it either hangs or the Trinity keeps rebooting after the above messages. This happens whether it's in the car or connected to the pc. Thanks for your help.

Tried connecting the Trinity to my pc a few hours later and it worked. Was able to load the tune in the car with no issues. I did nothing else and can't tell you how it resolved itself.
