Diablo Tune?

Post by EricB2005Hemi »

What exactly does the Diablo Tune (the 93 Octane) modify? I have an 05 300C (5.7L)....does it factor in CAI?

it adjust timing, fueling, torque management, throttle response and more. There should be an additional 93 cai tune for use with a cold air intake.,

Thanks

No, they are different tunes, you use one or the other....the diablo tune is a 93 tune, then theres also a 93 CAI tune.

there are hundreds of changes in the tunes, its not realistic to provide all that info.
We adjust timing, fueling, throttle control, torque management, etc.

Glad you asked that question Pete 1975 , because I was wondering the same thing for my 2012 SRT-8 . I'm very new to this " Computerized Tuning " stuff so my learning curve has been all wknd but I think I finally got it together.

Mikel, how do you see the difference between an aftermarket and the factory air intake on the hemi SRT?

what year are we talking about?
If 392 based, I dont see much of a gain going to a CAI on a stock motor, gotta increase airflow to make the stock intake become a restriction.
