First Post - CAI question

Post by 07GMCYukonXLDenali »

I have been reading some of the most recent information on the GM Gas Predator-U7194 but I haven't seen anything regarding cold air intakes or increasing airflow to help the engine breath better especially when asking the engine to perform better.

I have a stock '07 Denali XL with a 6.2L and plan on purchasing a U7194 but I am wondering if there are any inexpensive but necessary mods that should be done as well to benefit from the Predator including a CAI?

Sorry if this has been covered before but this is all new to me.

Thanks,
2007 Yukon XL Denali 6.2L

I am running the AEM Brute Force CAI with the same model predator that you are contemplating..

Really is a good combo. Anyone who thinks the CAIs do not help has never logged before and after the install to see if any difference.

I dialed my LTFTs in before the install and after a few weeks installed the CAI... Had to re-dial in just because of the added CAI.

I yes to at least both..
