Boost Fooling in PP? And PP came apart!

Post by silverram3500 »

Hello I have a '99 Dodge with CTD.
I put the PP on my truck less then 1 month ago and it made a difference in acceleration and felt the timing advanced and alittle more fuel!

Now the problem is with my Air filter system and exhaust I'm getting 28-32 # of boost! So I'm throw an OverBoost Code!
My Puck plugs into the Injection Pump not the Map like on newer Dodges! Is this why I get the overboost code.
My puck doesnt have boost fooling??!

Also when I looked at the PUCK last it had come apart in the truck with the base attached to the velcro provided stuck to the mounting place and the unit was opened and just wires I can see out the back.

I have since tie straped the PUCK together but is this normal or a warranty issue?
Thks and sorry so long but these 2 issues are a concern for me!>

If you are the original owner I would look into an RMA request for the Puck.

Thanks
