Heading to the dealer

Post by waltheraustin »

I've got to head in but I've got a tune. Remove it completely or will it cause issues with my ability to use the tuner if the dealer does an update while they have it? Speedo is off quite a bit from the rear emd change so I would like to at least have that accurate but won't if there's a potential for issues after I get it back. Would gear change to the tune ok be ok at a chevy dealer?

Thanks in advance

always restore original backup stock tune first before going to a dealer for anything...

because if keep the tune installed and they do any updates to the ECM/TCM, then you'd be screwed, tool would not work for you anymore until you got it unlocked/reset by diablosport...

so yes, restore original backup stock tune to vehicle before going to a dealer..

Got it! That includes gear change? Any harm in running with speedometer off by 10? No CEL which I'm surprised. Thought that much would cause an issue with abs sensor.
