Diablo inTune i1000 Issues

Post by Aculight »

Good Morning to all.

I recently purchased a Diablo inTune i1000 from a buddy who owned a 2007 Charger SRT-8.

I paid to have the device unmarried so I can use it for my 2007 Jeep SRT-8

Before doing so I plugged into my PC and let it update but even after doing so it will not work.

I constantly get a (Vehicle not supported) error no matter what I do.

In addition, the CD-ROM application is now missing when I plug it into my PC

I went through the settings on the device and cleared all updates in an attempt to start fresh

When I plugged it in before it ran some sort of i2 application and began downloading updates, I cancelled this because it looked like it was for the i2 and not my inTune i1000

Please Help.

Try a different USB port and see if computer reinstalls the drivers then you might get it all back on the pic end..... or reset computer with tuner plugged into USB port

Just sharing my experience with it.

Plug it into a windows based PC. Run the updater app found on the diablosport drive that shows up, USB drive of the i1000. It will auto update everything. If it doesn't, click on the check for updates button. Let it run and touch nothing and stop nothing. It may take awhile. I experienced the i1000 to be slow, but is solid and reliable if you let it do its thing and don't meddle with impatience.
