Trinity locking up when I get to page 5 loading gauges 2 log

I hear we have a fix coming... Is it true? If so, I'm happy to hear it! How far out are we from the fix?

I have the same issue here. Just opened the package yesterday and loaded the updates from website. Gauges will not let me even edit them on page 1 or unit will lock up. Hope there is something they can do or will be sending it back before my 30 days are up. Seems to load tunes fine but tire sizes on Jeep 2005 are not all there. It does not even have the 32 inch tire that a Rubicon come stock with so this is disappointing as this is why I purchased it to be able to calibrate the speedometer. I even called support before the purchase to make sure it would work and they told me it would. Sent in a support email so I hope to hear from someone this week. I may use the suggestion of loading the previous CROM but not sure if that will work as the unit automatically loaded a calibration tool when I plugged it into the jeep. Hopefully Diablo will have a suggestion.

The problem right now is if you hood the unit up to your computer via the app it will auto update to the latest crom. You need to unmarry the unit, connect it to your computer and call support (during normal business hours).

They will downgrade the unit. However some functions for newer dodge vehicles may not work and it could be a catch 22 until they fix the latest crom.

tmarcum, I don't think you should have a problem with the year of your vehicle but still would call support. it takes longer to unmarry the unit then for Diablo to downgrade it.

So far been data logging without an issue runing the 1r10 crom (no letter after the 10) I've blocked the DSdownloader app from connecting to the internet via my firewall just in case but once downgraded do not hook the unit back up until there is a permanent fix.

I believe once you downgrade it and remarry it, it shouldn't automatically update. I think it can and will only update when unmarried.

It is infuriating to me that dsdownloader auto updates the Trinity. It should not do that.

If I update my Trinity with this file I can change/run gauges on my 13' Challenger R/T? I got this unit for Christmas and just noticed the freezing problem last week.

The update Mike posted fixes the gauge lockup problem but then there are no options to tune the vehicle other than the modified stock. I sent Mike and email about it. I did downgrade the unit to the older crom. The one without the g on the end and that resolved the issue and the unit seems to function correctly except for an issue I am having calibrating the speedometer. Mine is an older Jeep 2005 Rubicon so I am not sure what the g update does but I am sure that is what is causing the gauges to lock up.
