Missing something?

I have just purchased a second hand but unused intune i1000 that appears to have been provided to the previous owner as part of a Vortech supercharger kit. I have installed all the updates but when I plug in to my 06 Chrysler 300c srt8 I only have one time available for use which is 'Charge Cooled HO'. Am I missing something? This tune is unusable for my car bit is the only one that I have.

that is a tune for a supercharged combo, the Vortech tool only come with the Vortech tune files preloaded.

OK, so how do I go about getting the tune files that I require? I was under the impression that I could update the unit and get them but this isn't the case it would seem.

No, there is no way to convert this tool. Only option would be to obtain a custom tune for your vehicle or upgrade to a standard i2 programmer.

I can't even manually install the file for the 93 octane tune? Looks like I've just purchased a very expensive paper weight...

no you can not, and yes you did..

can trade it in to diablosport and get a $100 credit towards purchasing the regular intune i2 or trinity from them.

So why isn't there something on the packaging that says this unit isn't usable like all the others? The box quite clearly states that the unit inside it comes pre-loaded with all the tunes, you are aware that this could quite easily be seen as false advertising. All the packaging inside and out clearly claim the unit is capable of doing something that your now telling me it can't.

this is not a device we sell to end users.
We sell them ONLY to Vortech and they send them out with their kits, they are not designed or intended for use beyond that.
