Trinity touch screen failure

Hello, I'm here seeking some input or help with my Trinity hand held. I've had the unity in my car for about a year and a half at this point and this problem actually started several months ago, but i wanted to try to find a fix without just jumping on here first. My vehicle is an '04 Neon SRT4 with v.1r13c loaded. I mounted the handheld into the car when i got it, and have left it there. I do not take the device in and out of the car. I have already tried the loosening of the screws to fix this issue with no luck. Could a moderator, or someone that has run into this help me with some direction on this? I know this has been covered, but I can't find any further info other than the screw fix.

so the touch screen does not work at all?

Correct. I've tried loosening the screws in the rear with no luck. i noticed it after connecting my AEM wideband to the unit and tried to calibrate them together. i've tried over the last 5 months to simply see if it would start working again but such luck. Any ideas?
