Tow tune: What octane?

I just bought an intune for my 2006 HEMI Durango with the intention of running the 87 octane tune and disabling MDS.

After getting the intune fully up to date and firing it, I saw a 'Tow tune'. I didn't even know Diablosport provided such a tune as it never came up in my researches. I'm interested by it as I use this truck almost exclusively for towing.

My question is, what does this tune do exactly and more specifically, can I run it with 87 octane?
