Humming noise from rear end. 1/2 Power! No backup!

Post by Aktive16 »

I am having a problem backing to stock. It seems like it did actually backup to stock but when setting the perimeters back it hung on the please wait. The reason I wanted to go back to stock from cai 91 is bcuss. After filling up at a Arco  3/4 full, I noticed a humming noise and half my power is gone. car barely wants to go to the next gear. so i thought bad gas to put octane booster and gas treatment. still didnt work. so then thats when i ran into this prob. after unplugging the tool after it froze . replugged it and tried to change the transmission shift points, firmness, etc. back to stock it said something like failed to do so with tcm or transmission. so i think the problem is with the tool or tune. i remember a while back i got a code for the wrong gear ratio (which i never changed) when the tranny was slippin. switch back to stock and disconnect batt and i was back on the road. Not this time tho

I need help asap plz

did you adjust axle ratio at some point?
Can you go to the quick adjust menu and try selecting restore quick adjust?
if that works then try the stock tune restore again.
if not give us a call with the tool powered up in the vehicle and we'll see whats up.

Thanks
