Check engine codes w/vr7140
I am a mechanic who installed a High Output Vortech supercharger kit on a 2005 Mustang GT 5-speed (a few months ago), which included a MAF.ia. and a Predator (vr7140) tuner. I set the MAF.ia to 2 and programmed the PCM with the Charge Air program in the Predator (as recommended by Vortech). After test driving the vehicle, I ran a code scan on it (to make sure everything was good) and upon running a Key-On-Engine-Off scan it showed a MAF sensor out of test range code. I emailed Diablosport at the time and you told me that was normal with a MAF.ia. Now, the customer has brought the car back to me for an oil change and it has a Continuous Memory code of P0104 (Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Intermittent/Erratic). Is this normal also, or is it possible the MAF.ia is bad or needs set differently? By the way, the customer also has JBA shorty headers, Magnaflow exhaust w/cats, 4:10 gears, and 28" diameter rear tires on this car (I have customized the program for the gears and taller tires).

RE: Check engine codes w/vr7140
Have you had this car on a dyno to verify the A/F ratio stays flat through the RPM range?
If so, the Mafia is working properly, if not there could be an issue.
Thanks
