Switching Vehicles

I got a new truck and I am trying to use my Trinity T1000 on the new truck. How do I clear the original backup file which is from my old truck? I don't have that truck anymore. I plugged the Trinity into my PC and it powers on. I went to options and it doesn't show 2017 for vehicle year. It won't allow me to update the trinity on the DS Downloader. Any tips?

To unlock the tuner for free requires that you restore the stock tune to the vehicle it is married to.
if that vehicle is no longer available, we offer an unlock service for $179 by calling in with the tool powered up.

This is a great addition, I have the same problem, so will call support. The difference with my problem is that it is a completely different make and model, does this get resolved from the reset?

Also can you tell me which software is required for a 2010 Camaro SS with a 6.2L Engine. I'll download it and get my laptop ready.

as long as you do the restore original backup process to the previous vehicle, that will unlock/reset the Trinity.. then you can run the DSDownloader while your trinity is connected to your Windows PC and it will update the trinity to all the latest updates.. then you can connect to your vehicle and tune it.
