PCM has been tuned before by a DiabloSport product

Good morning!

I purchased an intune yesterday. When attempting to tune my 2006 Dodge Charger SRT8, with the 91 CAI tune, it says that my PCM has already been tuned by a DiabloSport product. So far I have tried.

Step 1) Attempt to tune
Step 2) Hit continue to screen that says unplug and update with computer
Step 3) Unplug
Step 4) Plug in to computer. It downloads 2 files.
Step 5) Plug back in to Car, attempt to tune. Same Message.

Step 5) Hit restore from backup It says no backup file stored for vehicle.

I have also made sure that I have no quick adjusts applied.

Any suggestions?

Nevermind. It was my own stupidity. At the end of the computer-side installer it says wait till the main menu to unplug, so I unplugged. I didn't realize it had to go through the device-side install. Once I let it do that it worked just fine.

I think I might be having the same problem you were having. I had an Intune i2 and tuned my truck. Then the tuner was stolen so I'm left with a tune that is not registered with the new tuner I purchased. I have a few questions for you.

How long did it take before you saw the menu?

When the two files were installed on the tuner how did revert back to stock then tune again? Did it give you an option to revert back to stock or could you go ahead and tune the vehicle as soon as you plugged in?
