Changing shift points

Post by hydrasport »

I have the latest In Tune I 1000 update installed as of yesterday. I have a C6 6L80 that I am trying to firm up the shifts. I noticed one person on the forum state that he decreased the shift pressures about 4%. I have increased the shift pressures for all part throttle shifts in the standard mode by +4 % and increased WOT shifts by +8%. In the sport mode I increased shift pressures for the first three shifts by +12% and +8% for the last 3 shifts. (have not had a chance to drive the car since). Is that too much of an increase and did I go in the correct direction?

I was looking for the shift point adjustment for part throttle and I see nothing. The program has a shift point setting but all lower RPM shift points are set at 6400 and the last two upshifts are set at about 5400 RPM. I am trying to separate the 2-3 and 3-4 part throttle upshifts because at part throttle those two shifts are very close and sometimes they are so close that the transmission immediately drops a gear after the part throttle upshifts. Can the part throttle upshift RPM be changed?

I also have the TM turned off (I see no choice to turn it off for each gear) but during data logging yesterday, I still see some TM but it is less than !.5.

you can not adjust part-throttle shift points.. need to get a custom tune in order to get the part-throttle stuff adjusted...

TM is just one setting for all.. it's either on or off...
