LTFT's are off.. I would adjust your injector slope up +2 from wherever it is set at now...

what adjustments have you made to the tune? which tune are you using?

the spark is normal/fine for regular driving... no worries there...

THanks For the Reply

87 OCT Tune... LTFT was originally at 8.9 and 7.4... LTFT is +3.69 currently... Im thinking adjusdting -2 more...One more question, when it is a cold start, after briefly increasing RPM's and letting of pedal, the engine appears to have a different sound... almost like a delayed decrease in RPM's... only does this under cold start???

well, which one is it??? hahahah.. . is it +3.69 or -3.69??? makes a big difference....

your first post at the top says -3.69, now you're saying they're at +3.69....

if they're at -3.69, you need to go up +2% on injector slope from wherever you have it set at now...

if they're at +3.69, you need to go down -4% on injector slope from wherever you have it set at now...

Sorry, I was using the (-) behind all of the data labels... It may have been confused for a neg. symbol... Its +3.69... anything on the cold start RPM issue... it just sounds like the RPM's decrease but the valves are slow to decrease in speed... Im no mechanic or motorhead so i dont know if this makes sense

what octane gas are you using, and what tune are you using??

Ok, Got my LTFT's dial in pretty close to Zero while driving 65 on cruise in 3rd.

But... I feel like I lost power, but gained in "smoothness" and looks like mpg too. But I'll have to watch that a little longer.

What else do I need to do now?

no way you lost power, it probably just smoothed the power curve with your injectors now spraying correctly.

you could advance timing at WOT for a bit more, just be sure to monitor for KR at WOT after any timing adjustments are made.

You can do that for the 87 tune? and yes, it feels smoother for sure. Another question, if I run 93 tune, will this carry over?.. I did this on 93 octane with the 87 tune.

Thanks

yes - you can adjust anything for any tune...

now, if you go to install the 93 tune over the 87 tune, it will prompt you on the screen, telling you that you're changing tunes, and will ask you if you want to reset all parameters.

if you choose YES, it will reset all the adjustments back to 0.

if you choose NO - it will apply your adjustments you've already made before to the 93 tune and then install it.

And for god's sake man run that 87oct fuel out of the tank before you put 93oct in. Or you trims will be all over the place and KR will be kicking in the first time you floor it.

So regarding the dod logging issue, has it been confirmed that dod does engage in third gear? I have done a couple logs with the regular diablo tune in third gear and have never seen the dod engage. So if this is the case I am guessing that it would be fine to log with the regular diablo tune in third gear, which is the gear we're supposed to be logging in anyways.

dod will only engage if you're in D... not 1, 2, or 3...
