T1000 PCM: error seed/key

Recently purchased a T1000 from you, first time trying to install in
2005 Corvette LS2 Manual, getting a PCM: error seed/key (-1) on it. Tried everything I
could think of and no luck. This happened every time I tried it, 3 or 4 Times.

Having problems trying to work with it on the computer as well. Rather frustrating.

Assuming ignition is in RUN, my thought is the PCM is actually locked.

Have no idea if it is locked, if it is locked how do you get past this?

not really something thats simple to do, some shops offer a PCM unlock service but you have to send the PCM to them to have it unlocked.

Can a dealer do this?

no, its locked so the dealer cant flash it

Mike, thank you for this information, not in a huge hurry for this as winter is here and car is in garage. Have a new PCM / ECM coming for it. Seeing as the T 1000 never successfully linked to the car and kind of stalled out, is there anything I need to do to clear out the tuner? Start over or anything like that?
