Just purchased an I3 went to do the update and everything worked fine. It said that the update was successful and it needs to reboot. I press continue to reboot and it just stays on the please wait screen.
Thank you

Re: I3 stuck on "please wait"
As in unplug it and plug it back in? If I do that it automatically downloads the updates again then goes back to the "please wait" screen after saying it needs to reboot.
Also just curious as to what parameters can be adjusted on a 2018 GMC Sierra 6.2 , from my understanding the transmission is untunable, correct ?
Thank you !

Re: I3 stuck on "please wait"
correct.. the 8 speed tranny can not be accessed or tuned at all.. you can only tune the engine..
And With that 6.2, you need to use at least 91 octane gas, so make sure you are using GOOD 91/93 octane gas, it makes a difference... mobil, exxon, sunoco, amoco, bp, chevron are best brands to use, with mobil and exxon being the best..
NEVER use Shell, costco/bj's, mom-n-pop, or no-name brands, as it's crap gas that tends to cause a lot of knock retard and less performance/mpg...
So you'd need to select/install the "Diablo Tune" - that's the 91/93 octane tune..

Thanks Lew, already using 93 and will upload the tune when I get this update thing sorted. Will probably be contacting you shortly after to get a custom tune done as well. The one you did for my last truck was awesome.
Re: I3 stuck on "please wait"
Mike, no ideas on how to get this thing working ?
