2008 300c Active cruize contol problems with 93 tune

Post by HEMI08 »

I3

car has ben tuned with canned 93 tune for 3 months no issues

wife was driving my 300 all the sudden ACtive Cruise Control alarm goes off- car accelerates on its own then slows down. Did it a bunch of times. Had her restore back to factory for now and it’s fine.

The Active cruise was not turned when this happens. It seems to come on and accelerate the car....

The problem has not returned since putting the car back to stock, three weeks ago.

I used the search function here but did not return any results.

Is this a known issue with the car, tuned or not?

Is there an issue causing this in the tune or the tool?

Appreciate your attention to this.

Never seen or heard of this happening to be honest.
I doubt it was related to the tune in any way, but not surer what may have caused it.

After some time the issue returned with the stock tune.

online research has indicated it most likely is a sensor in the NAG-1, probably one of the two sensors located in or near the valve body.

Will post actual cause when known for all interested.
