Just have it powered up and reference the fact that I asked you to call in for the reset.

So tech just reset the device apparently. I did an update as suggested. I plug it into the vehicle and I STILL have the same problems. What really sucks is you have the same business hours 90% of America has so its REAL difficult to try and get home to call your tech.
