2014 Ram transmission part throttle upshifting??

Hello
I have been using my Diablo Trinity tuner for some time now and love
everything that i have been able to do. The only thing im skeptical of
is changing the upshift settings for part throttle, it makes me nervous. But i know
There is alot to be had with changing it.
What is a good rule of thumb to changing these settings. I dont like how the
Trans will have me in third gear by the time i get to the end of my driveway.
Then i go to pull out on the main road without stopping and it needs to be practically
Floored to shift down. Then sometime with the mds im crusing st say 35-40mph and its already
In say 5th gear and you have to press throttle hard to accelerate.
I was once told i need to buy a tune from Jay Greene or Hemi fever i will. But im just not sure.

I have a 2014 Ram 5.7l 6 speed. 2wd 3.55 gears. Cold Air intake, magnaflow exhaust. Diablo
Trinity 87 performance tune.
