I2 not working on '14 Ram after update

Post by holschuh11 »

I took my i2 off my Ram a month ago to take it in for recall work after it had been on for over a year working great. I decided to go ahead and update it while i had it off. Before i had i believe a 87 performance tune loaded, now there is only a pref trans tune available. And it wont even load onto the truck. What changed and how can i get it to work? Thanks in advance

After doing some research it looks like i havent been on here in a while to read up on progress lol. Im excited there is trans tuning available now and hopefully i can get it to work on my truck, but i dont believe i was doing anything wrong. It didnt offer any "easy tunes" only "advanced tunes which was just the perf trans tune which wouldnt even begin to load the back up file.

restore to stock then try again, it likely asked to update the pcm and you skipped that then it saw the tcm was supported so it only offered that.
You;'ll have to agree to update the pcm and do that then it will let you tune both modules.
