New Trinity EX issues with Mac

Post by Sledge29 »

I just got my new Trinity 2 EX and downloaded the ignition software for the Mac from your website. When I connect via usb to my MacBook I get an error on the device and it wants me to reset it. When I do it says rebooting for a bit the the same device error comes up. Just continues to repeat this. Any suggestions......

can you access the T2 drive and post the info.xml file here from the T2 drive?

Do you have access to a PC to try it on?

I suffered through this myself. Pretty much gave up on the Mac connection. I was able to get it to do some updates in a Windows PC, that helped. But it did not get all the updates. Finally, I plugged it into my car and connected it to my home WiFi. I got all the updates I needed and ran a 91 Octane Tune. Everything is nice from there on out.
