Tune in vehicle does not match back up

I have a 2006 Mustang GT with C&L CAI Street version along with the predator CL7140. I made the mistake of trying to download the latest update but it was for the U7140. The download failed; however, when I boot the Diablosport up it says "Application Missing or Corrupt."

With your help I was able to correct the above problem and than I downloaded a custom tune which loaded successfully. When I went to install the tune on my car in read Tune in vehicle does not match back up.

The last tune installed was the 93 oct street tune and I am unable to change to any tune. I did not try in reinstall the backup as I was concerned this might make the vehicle not start or other problems. How can the backup not match & is my factory tune lost? How can I install the custom tune that I purchased?

I am guessing that you didn't restore the original backup to the vehicle before you went through the update process? Who did you work in support to fix the "Application Missing or Corrupt" problem? I suggest you get back on the phone with whoever helped you before, I bet they can force the original and get you straightened out.
