06 Mustang GT

Post by adelgado »

Just installed the U7140 on my stang it is awesome, I installed the Air Raid tune, but I wanted to know what parameters I can change on the timing to give it a litle more go if I choose to go with 93 Octane gas? I have only Flowmaster mufflers, and an Air Raid cold air intake. Any help would be great, thanks...

Unless stated otherwise, the tune is for 93 octane. If you use a 91 octane tune, you can go into Modify Tune/Modify Parameters/Spark Advance/Global Spark and add 2* if you wish to run 93 octane.

Christy, does the airraid tune come with a 91 or 93 octane tune with it. I thought it was a 93 octane. Let me know. Thanks

rtgendron47, All CAI tunes are based off of 91 octane fuel. You can go into the Global spark table and add 2 degrees of timing so you can use 93 octane fuel for maximum performance.

I have the same setup, you should beable to go into "OEM" tunes and select "Airaid Firm Shift" this is a 93 oct tune with this tune you will be grabbing rubber for sure in second and probable 3rd if you have anautomatic
