i2 Won't import custom tunes

Post by Mike_Levy »

Hey Mike,

Not sure if the other Mike talked to you yet, but his tunes won't import on my i2. I can copy them onto the drive, but it never sees them. No import, no option to custom tune. Any ideas?

EDIT: I assume you’re working with him. I sent him my info.xml. Hope whatever you’re doing works, ‘cause the truck won’t even idle right now. Runs fine for about 5 seconds, then I guess the MAF gets involved, it lopes, floods and then dies.

Just dropped the truck off at the service station again. Top end has an air leak and the wideband isn't working, so we have some time to figure this out. Had to wedge the stock MAF sensor into the SCT housing to get it to run. No screws though. Seems Fords sensor and SCTs sensor are different with different bolt patterns, so the screw holes don't line up. I'm hoping the O-ring holds the sensor in place. Redneck engineering, I guess. And it only took a year of being in Florida. :punisher:

Sent the i2 to you this AM. You'll have it Thursday.
