SVT Focus and Predator U7144

ok so i am struggling, i bought a SVT Focus and it came with a diablosport tuner. i have since bought a new tune from Tom at TurboFocus which seems to be a more common that people use.

anyway, i can successfully use the tuner to load the backup or the diablosport tune to the car. no problem there.

i am now trying to use the downloader to add the new tune to the predator for uploading to the car.

now as i understand it i need to get an original backup file from the car. this is where i am struggling. i have tried to do this when i have the original and diablosport tune loaded on the car, but whatever i do it fails when trying to download the tune to the computer from the car, basically coms up saying select PC communication and i can't find that option on the menu of the predator.

it then just sits there and does nothing.

What revision is the Predator on? This will make a difference in how the tune is uploaded.

v.7r91, i thought the later versions were not available for some reason

so i just put the diablosport tune on the car.

so theorectically i have an original backup on the predator, but i still cannot get this thing to work, do i need to do anything at all in the predator itself to start the transfer, i ddi try using the export function but that just fails. i get ERROR: Original Backup does not exsist on svt_focus tools
