Hi,
I have used my I2 about 4 years ago when I last updated my 93 oct tune and made small adjustments to my tire size. Recently put on new tires and now need to adjust tire size again.
I plugged in the I2 unit and it showed me a message"This Vehicle is currently not supported; an update may be required". So I ran the updater on the unit... it installed something called "ignition" and I ran it a few times. I noticed it updated a few different components every time I ran it. At one point there was even an update on the configuration file of the car I need to use it on. It seems now everytime I run the "ignition" updater it always wants to update the same 4x files. Nevertheless I have re-tried to get access to my car but no luck. Also saw another message something about enabling Wifi... Did not seem to find anything on the unit that have this option.
Attached a few screenshots that may help to identify the problem.
I currently have two vehicles registered on the device and I need access to 1C6RD7NT8CS294819
Can someone urgently help? Need to address my speedo correction.
Regards,
Mouritz

was the vehicle in question serviced by a dealer since you last tuned it?
Please post the info.xml file from the i2 drive so we can check it out.

Mike,
Yes, the vehicle have been serviced at all required intervals... but since I have not used the tuner for more than 4 years, I can not really vouch for the dealership may have done with to the PCM on their routine services. Do you suspect that they have may have messed with the PCM? as far as I'm aware they didn't and no other 3rd party work have been done to the PCM to my knowledge.
Info.xml file attched.
Best regards,
Mouritz

Well, my thought was that they updated it but it doesnt look that way.
Seems mor elike its not communicating.
Connect to the car and go to the '?' on the home screen and select vehicle info with key in RUN and confirm it will display VIN/calid, etc.
if so back up and try tuning again please. If not, theres a connectivity issue somewhere.

Mikel,
No connectivity issue. I have double checked all connections and tested each and every cable from the OBD2 port to the ECU. All good.
Also attached a picture showing that the car is identified and that the correct VIN is displayed. Something else must be wrong here.
