intune i3 doesnt connect with update agent

purchased a i3 8245 for my 2018 silverado and when i went to tune my truck it said ecm needs update connect with ignition , problem is that when i plug it into computer nothing happens and if i open the ignition program and also plug in my i3 nothing happens ??

Yup, received mine Monday after a 18 day wait for 4 day shipping. and still can't tune my truck. I've spoken to them on the phone twice and both times assured they expect a fix in 24 hours...that was 3 days ago. Anyway, its seems like an IT issue on their end and all we can do is wait.

Got the new inTune i3 for my 2018 Sierra Denali and same issue. Keeps UPDATING then says NEW UPDATES found and KEEPS UPDATING and repeat over and over.
On the Truck it goes through all menus for the Easy Tune and backs up then says ( ECU needs UPDATE connect and update .. then when finished updating REPEATS the issue over and over )

Think I will avoid the headaches I am seeing in the forum and get my refund and a different programmer.

No previous problems ever with my Diablo 2 programmers for my Hummer H2 or my 2002 Camaro SS BrickYard.

Disappointed.

finally got in touch with support via email and apperently now they trying to make me pay an extra 40$ for a 2017 and up gm tuning licence ? what is this for ? i already boyght the tuner this should be included ? it clearly says when buying the tuner suports 2017,2018 gm trucks

Gentlemen, this should be working now, please update again. If not please post your serial and i will get it fixed.

GM has made changes that require us to pay $40 for each vehicle we tune, so we have released a new sku that costs more that is specific to 17+ models.
If you have the older model that is not specific to 17+ you will have to pay the additional $40 at the time of the update in order to process the unlock request.

I am having this same issue. Paid the $40 and it just keeps saying theres an update, does the update, rinse and repeat. Will not tune.
