PLX wideband set up question

Post by pepesSRT8 »

Trying to setup a PLX SM-AFR Wideband to datalog on my 06 CSRT8. I have given up on the BT interface (Multigauge) based on all the negative reviews and my experience so far. It just refuses to connect. I will just use this to log anyway. But, I cannot get it set up on the Dataviewer. It recognizes the external analog PID that I set up for the 02 sensor but, the gauge has a scale that I do not recognize and does not display any output (flatline). I set the upper and lower limits to 10/19.98. Units I defined as percent. This was done through the inTune. Should I be setting the limits in volts which the SM-AFR then outputs as AFR? Is there a way to modify the PID within DV insteead of the intune?

2 log files attached: configured to I3 channels one and two respectively. The external PID displayed as UNKNOWN in both cases and no data was observed in real time mode.

Backing up, I checked voltage output on the 2.5mm jack and the tip read 2.2V w/o the sensor connected and 2.2-4.9V with the sensor reading "free air".

Thanks for your help

I am having the same issue with an Innovate LC-2. I have wired the 0v-5v analog output to the Trinity T1015 analog cable's red wire. Not knowing which wire was which input, I programmed the following into my intune:

Name: AFR1
Channel 1
Units: %
Lower bound: 7.35
Upper bound: 22.39

Name: AFR2
Channel 2
Units: %
Lower bound: 7.35
Upper bound: 22.39

Once I was connected to Dataviewer, the AFR1/2 gauges showed 7.350 as the reading, with 7.350/7.350 % as the scale. They do not change. I have checked with a voltmeter, and I am seeing the correct range of volts on the ring, and 0.0 on the tip (expected).
