07 Chevrolet Tahoe 5.3 questions

I'm new to the forum, I've been using the Diablo Trinity EX Platinum for about 8 months. I've only used it to turn off the AFM and Speed Limiter, I've added a few new upgrades like cold air intake changed the oil pressure relief valve and add the shield also changed the valve cover that makes all the 5.3 burns up the oil. (I lost an engine over that).. Now I'm thinking of using the 87 tunes on the Trinity now that I feel comfortable to install it. My question is should I use it or since I've put in all this work, should I just pay for a custom tune. Any advice?

Use it, cant/won't hurt anything...can only make it better
