What does the 91 CAI performance tune give you?

What does the 91 CAI performance tune give you?
Is there a list of the parameters available that a 91 CAI performance tune will change or enhance from the stock settings in a 6.1L Hemi using the U7135?
RE: What does the 91 CAI performance tune give you?
That list would be long.
We do not have such a list no.
We do not have such a list no.

johan, do you have a condensed list then.
johan,
As per my earlier thread, is there then a condensed list of what has been changed or modified in a 91 CAI tune with the U7135 in a 6.1L hemi?
Sorry but I did not realize what that original request would result in.
thanks again.

There are way too many changes to list, and honestly, unless you are an experienced tuner, many of them would not make sense.

Re: RE: johan, do you have a condensed list then.
The reason why I am inquiring, is that when I loaded the tune, I did not realize that my ESP got disabled, which makes sense by the way, but regardless, did not know it was disabled. Does that also mean that my ABS is disabled as well?mikel wrote:There are way too many changes to list, and honestly, unless you are an experienced tuner, many of them would not make sense.
Do not these features go hand in hand? Can I then reactivate and disable it manually after the tune has been installed?
RE: Re: RE: johan, do you have a condensed list then.
Its not disabled. The threshold is higher, but the ESP will still intervine. ABS is fully functional.

It is not disabled, its threshold for it to kick in is raised (per customers request).

ESP can be disabled, but it is not by default, you'd have to set it that way yourself.
Thanks

Who where the pin brains that suggested that? (oops, did I say that out loud?) I can do that instantly with a button on the dash and do it while I'm moving. There's even an indicator to say whether I've done it or not. Now, if I have a tune loaded I don't have the option for full ESP on... fortunately it only happens a few times a year here but, for example, when you're driving in a downpour it's nice to have full ESP.johan wrote:It is not disabled, its threshold for it to kick in is raised (per customers request).

I was wondering the same thing myself. There is that little button to turn it off. Well kinda off, but sometimes it would be nice to have the full ESP available. Not a real big deal to me but maybe the next revision you could have the option of having full ESP or not and just use the button on the dash for what it was for.

Nah, I like it the way it is. ESP is for people who can't drive right and need electronic support. Those of us who can drive good find it a nuisance because we want to be able to invoke wheelspin and high yaw and slip angles, and the electronics don't allow it.
For those that need it, I highly suggest a performance driving course. I've done 4 of them and each time I learn how to get even better. Plus, its fun to be able to wring out cars on the track.
